About me

My interest in art and photography started with picture books, magazines and album covers, but only until the advent of digital SLR’s and Photoshop has my interest in creating images been achievable.

People ask me “which type of photos do you like to take? Landscapes, Wildlife, Portraits, Sports, etc?” I reply, “anything that catches my eye, whether it is a lighthouse, a big cloudy sky, a sunset or even a line of rusty railings.

I like to experiment and try something different, hence my interest in post production. It is amazing what you can do to a drab, flat photograph with a bit of imagination. With this in mind I have chosen to dedicate a page to HDR, Pattern Matching, Tiltshift, Timelapse, Long Exposures and Wacky Effects.

Based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, I like to get out early when there are less crowds, less cars and hopefully the best light. Having a camera is great excuse to get out there and explore.

I also offer 1 to 1 training on photography, composition and editing. I specialise in iPhoto, Aperture and Photoshop. If you need help in any of these areas, see Mac Photo Training.
